I remember reading a review when I started my Invisalign search and someone said they were sad when they were done with their treatment plan because they enjoyed their appointments. I thought that was pretty strange…until I started to go to my own appointments and then totally got it! Dr. C has created an environment that is friendly and warm, but also efficient. Fun but also professionally managed. In addition, her skills in orthodontics are clearly unmatched. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking to fix their smile!Posted on Google

She goes above and beyond to make her practice an enjoyable and comfortable place to be. I was probably her longest patient which was entirely my fault but she was patient with me and never guilted me for slacking. Leah went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely cared for. It is so refreshing to visit a business where you are treated like a person and not just another number! alaina ladd15 days agoJust had the best experience at smile pop with Dr. Courtney and her team! On a friday, the glue on my permanent retainer had popped off and I needed someone to glue it back down! The team at smile pop was available via text and was able to schedule me in for early morning the first day after the holiday weekend making the entire scheduling process smooth and stress-free. I asked around a couple other places and was being quoted upwards of $250-300 and Dr. Courtney’s office was the only dental office offering an extremely reasonable price for the procedure. When I got there, because it was only a small chip in the glue and not a complete repair needed, Dr. Courtney did the procedure for free. In addition to that, the office was extremely well stocked and clean and a really relaxing environment to be in and the team at the office was so friendly and inviting. I was in and out in 10 minutes and felt well taken care of. I would absolutely without a doubt recommend any of friends or strangers with orthodontic needs to Dr. Courtney’s office.Posted on Google

I came to her with a unique and difficult case that other orthodontists hadn't even tried to help me with, and she was the first person who was able to see a potential path forward. She took the time to understand my situation, think creatively about a possible solution, and recommend an excellent dentist and oral surgeon to help me through the process. What truly sets her apart is that she did all of this without charging me a thing — her genuine desire to help was clear from the very beginning. Beyond her expertise, Dr. C is an absolute pleasure to work with. She's incredibly friendly, witty, and approachable, and she has a way of making you feel comfortable even when you're dealing with something complicated or stressful. She never made me feel nervous or self-conscious, and she was always willing to explain things thoroughly and answer my questions. Dr C provides a fulsome approach to ortho, above and beyond what would be expected. I constantly knew why something was happening or why she was doing what she was doing. The staff make it a very comfortable experience (not easy in the world of ortho!). I’m very glad I went with Dr C and the staff of smile pop. tristian kelly70 days agoI can’t begin to tell you what a breath of fresh air Dr C and her team have been. I had a dreadful experience with another dental place and I was left in a lot of pain not to mention emotional distress. Dr C made me feel at ease immediately and just sorted out my previous bad situation. I wished I’d found her first! Goes to show not all dental practices are equal. I think many people say they can do Invisalign’s but after my horrific experience elsewhere I’ve realised that this is so not the case. I was referred to her by my amazing dentist, Dr. Chan, for Invisalign, and from my very first appointment, I knew I was in the absolute best hands. Dr. C is not only incredibly knowledgeable and talented, but she’s also kind, thoughtful, fun, and an absolute joy to talk with. She’s a true perfectionist with an exceptional eye for detail, and it’s clear why she’s such a respected leader in the Invisalign community here in NYC. Also, I have TMJ and postponed doing this treatment for years in fear of triggering symptoms, but she was down to pivot whenever I needed to and made the experience comfortable. She is beyond detail-oriented, a total perfectionist and a bit of a workaholic when it comes to getting your results exactly right. Sophie Rose148 days agoI have walked by a few times and always interested. Today I just walked in and within a few minutes, paid for my teeth whitening service and was seated into the chair. Service was AMAZING, so easy, pretty painless. I walked in 2:45, decided and was being seated by 3pm. Perfect timing. Otherwise, Dr. Courtney was great and my technician Leah was awesome too! There was a DRAMATIC change in the color of my teeth. I did NOT expect it. (Think of the teeth color chart, my end result ended up being second from the absolute whitest.) I saw her for Botox for my TMJ pain and she added more during the follow-up free of charge because she wanted it to be perfect- I so appreciate the attention to detail! My treatment was under another orthodontist back in San Francisco, but since I moved to New York, my orthodontist recommend Smile Pop to me for any immediate matter. Their office is super cute, full of pink accents. Dr. Courtney was very friendly and attentice. I feel very cared for by everyone in this office. Smile Pop made that transition completely effortless. Dr. Courtney jumped into action and ensured I was seen right away. What really stood out was her warm and engaging chairside manner. Taylor Presley219 days agoI’m in disbelief I hadn’t posted a review for the magical, one of a kind Dr. C! Time to right my wrongs now. I came in to see Dr. C off a referral from a close friend way back in 2019-2020 and choosing her for my Invisalign was one of the best adult decisions I’ve ever made for myself. She is a perfectionist and will make sure your smile is absolutely perfect before stopping treatment. I haven’t stopped raving about her and sending everyone I know with teeth her way since we met (7!!!) years ago. It is incredibly important to me to work with doctors who really, truly hear you, want the best for you, and will color outside typical lines to make sure you are taken care of like you are a family member of theirs and Dr. C does that. I now have my dentist for life as a result of her referral for some final cosmetic bonding and I’m so thankful for her partnerships around the city also. What initially caught my attention was the level of thought she puts into educating patients. Not many orthos have an IG & Youtube presence and those videos really helped me get a clear, realistic view of the Invisalign process. That same attention to detail carried throughout the entire experience. She’s incredible, but more importantly very intentional in how she communicates with patients. You never feel rushed, and you always understand the reasoning behind each step. Her team has been so great to work with -- professional, friendly, and always on top of things. I had a bad crossbite and she assured me she could fix it using aligners only (I had been told by a number of top orthodontists that I would need jaw surgery). She 100% delivered and I couldn’t be happier. I get complimented on my teeth all the time. Her office in midtown is beautiful and her staff are superstars, always so friendly and obliging. I’ve never felt more confident in my smile and get so many compliments on it now. The office is super cute, everyone is so friendly, and they’re always quick to answer questions and fit me in on short notice. Going in for check-ins was actually fun and didn’t even feel like going to the orthodontist. And above that she really is such a nice person ❤️. The staff at Smile Pop are also wonderful, knowledgeable and welcoming ☺️☺️. Throughout the process my dentist would even comment on the great job my orthodontist was doing on my smile when I went for my cleanings. In fact, this was the best care I have received from any practitioner across the board! Dr. C is SO kind and caring and at Smile pop you can trust: -You will be listened to. You will receive a treatment plan that is truly built for YOU and your specific needs! -Communication is AMAZING!!! Dr. C explains and discusses with you your treatment design in advance, so you know exactly what to expect. She will even show you visuals of what will happen along the way with your smile! -The entire team from front desk to associates are all so wonderful and always make you feel welcome and cared for. -The office is incredibly clean and Dr. C’s interior design is beautiful. Why does an aesthetically pleasing office matter? Think about it. This is the same person who will be designing YOUR SMILE! - Dr. C is an EXPERT in deploying the Invisalign software, while STAYING IN CHARGE as the overall designer, to achieve the best outcome for your smile, bite and overall functional health. Taking in all the factors of your lifestyle, profession, age etc. that may affect your individual case. A lot of practitioners are “trained in Invisalign” but may not be skilled in how to design for your specific needs… A.I. software is a great tool, but when a practitioner is just punching in a program and not factoring in how the A.I. design will truly look in YOUR mouth in the real world, that is when A.I. can run amok. -Dr. C also has an awesome sense of humor, joie de vivre and good energy. They are professional, attentive, and genuinely care about their patients. They took the time to explain every step of my treatment and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. The office is beautiful and spotless. I can't say enough good things about Smile Pop. I highly recommend Smile Pop for anyone looking for a fantastic dental experience! Dr. Courtney is the best at what she does - she is incredibly knowledgable and she is a perfectionist (all while being incredibly kind and supportive), and was easy to trust with my smile. I love the improvements that Dr. Courtney has made with Invisalign. She has been incredibly understanding and thorough throughout my process. And on top of that, she is an exceptional person who really, truly cares about her patients. She is pure kindness and positivity. My experience has been seamless, supportive, and honestly kind of fun, which is something I never thought could be true about dental work. The Smile Pop team is friendly, proficient, and supportive as well. They also have a magic whitening in-office treatment, my teeth improved 7 shades in just one session. Amanda Claudio455 days ago2025 Update : I made an appointment for a “retainer check” yesterday / I just wanted an excuse to see Dr. Courtney. She is still the best, her staff is still exceptionally warm, and the office is still perfectly pink. Reiterating that there is no place better for Invisalign than Smile Pop. I love Dr. Courtney!! I recommend her to anyone and everyone that wants to improve their smile. There is truly no one better. I would have seen her forever if I was allowed. I get compliments on my teeth often and I could not be happier with the results. She is the realest of real deals...supremely talented, extremely detail-oriented, honest about timeline, gives realistic expectations about results/maintenance, and the office is absolutely beautiful. Julia Pieri462 days agoThe best orthodontist in NYC period. Dr. Courtney and her team genuinely care about each and every patient whether it's your first appointment or just a check-in!!! I've had less than positive experiences with previous orthodontists where I felt like I was just a number in their factory or that I didn't really know what was being done to my mouth due to lack of explanation. Not Smile Pop!!!! The care, dedication and communication through every step of the process truly put my mind at ease! I got a teeth whitening treatment, a micro-needling treatment, and a NAD+ IV drip, which was new and exciting. It was my first time doing these treatments and Dr. Courtney explained everything clearly and was very reassuring throughout the process. She pays crazy attention to detail (aka perfectionist!), which is definitely something you want from the doctor taking care of your skin and teeth.
